Albertosaurus, left lower jaw

Complete left lower jaw from the Late Cretaceous of Alberta, Canada. The original specimen is in the Royal Ontario Museum.

Albertosaurus was a large, meat-eating dinosaur from the late Cretaceous period about 68 to 65 MYA years ago. It was a theropod related to T. rex but smaller in size. Albertosaurus was about 8.6 m long and weighed about 2500 kg

This left lower jaw is 28 inches long.
